Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment

I received a sample of this in my September Boudoir Prive Box, review of which can be found here. I say 'sample' but the 10ml bottle was full to the brim (literally, there was no room left at all in the bottle) and as this stuff is best used sparingly, it's safe to say this sample will last me a while.

I've been a fan of Moroccanoil for quite a while, however, considering how expensive it is I've been continually on the lookout for a cheaper alternative but have yet to find something that achieves all that Moroccanoil does. I have fine hair in good condition but I like to blow dry it and Moroccanoil stops my hair from going all fuzzy and flyawayey (it's a word) and whilst the alternatives I've tried have softened the hair, they've either made it greasy or not stopped the fuzziness.

I wouldn't say that the Macadamia Healing Oil does a better job than Moroccanoil, but it definitely does as good a job. However, the significant difference for me is the smell which is absolutely gorgeous. It's a gentle, fruity scent that massively surpasses the scent that Moroccanoil has. It's also considerably thicker than Morocconoil, but this doesn't impact the ability to spread it effectively. Lastly, the price difference is also noteworthy; a 100ml bottle of Moroccanoil retails for around £30 whereas you can purchase a 125ml bottle of Macadamia Oil for around £27. Not a significant difference but pair that with the smell of Macadamia Oil and it's safe to say that when I run out of my sample bottle (which in reality is probably going to be next year at this rate!) I'll be repurchasing.
