I was very excited to receive an e-mail from Boots 17 make-up suggesting I attempt to create a new look from a few key pieces in the 17 product line. So as soon as I received the make-up, I got to work.
I've decided to fight against my natural instinct and avoid reviewing any products in this post, as this is going to be long enough as it is. Instead I'm going to do a separate post running through my favourites from the products I received.
Here's a run down of the Boots 17 products I used to create this look:

Face
I wanted to stay away from neat and polished and keep the look gentle and pretty, so I avoided a heavy base and instead worked the BB Cream Blemish Balm over my face and used Miracle Matte Foundation as a concealer, both under the eyes and on any blemishes.
I then gentley buffed the Instant Glow Oversized Animal Print Bronzer into my forehead, temples, upper cheeks, bridge of my nose and the centre of my chin using the Powder Brush. I didn't want to overdo it with the bronzer to keep it as natural looking as possible.
Next I used the lighter part of the Blush & Glow (it's a half and half blush with one side a rosy pink and the other side bronze) on the higher part of my cheeks and the darker slightly lower which I applied and blended with the Blusher Brush.
Next, I very gently contoured under the cheek bone with the Instant Glow Medium Bronze just to add a tiny bit of definition.
Lastly, I used the palest shade in the Hazy Days palette as a highlighter, which I used on the upper cheekbones and circled it around to the brow bone. I also used a tiny bit on the tip of my nose and the 'highest' point of my chin to add a bit more light.
Eyes
I started with the lilac shade in Spring Brights all over the eyelid and buffed it slightly out on the outer sides of each eye.
I then used the bronze in the same palette on the crease and outer corners and blended well. I applied all of the above with the Eyeshadow Brush and blended with a cotton bud.
I then moved on to the Hazy Days palette and used the lighter bronze shade under my lower lash line. This shade is a slightly orangey bronze which I feel brought out the colour of my eyes.
Next I traced a very thin line of Eye Liner around my upper lashes, stopping as soon as the lashes became sparse as I wanted to add definition and fullness to my lashes but I still wanted to keep the look gentle. I then applied one coat of Peep Show.
Finally I used the yellow shade in the Spring Brights on the inner corner of each eye to add more light and brighten my eyes.
Lips
Lips were really easy; I used the lipbalm end of the lip stain before doing any other make-up, then by the time I'd finished applying the rest of my make-up my lips were softened so I applied the lip stain by drawing a line around my lips, then filling them in. I then waited for the stain to dry and applied the balm over the top.
This was such an easy to look to do that I think is just bright enough without going overboard!
