Titbits

1. When washing hair follow the process of using shampoo from top down and conditioner from the bottom up; so focus shampoo on the roots and let the suds drip down when rinsing (to cleanse the shaft and tips without drying them out) then use conditioner on the tips and work any residue upwards so you don't overdo the roots.

2. When going for full-coverage make-up, use foundation/base first, then conceal, then powder. There's no point concealing first as you'll end up wiping it all off when you apply your base.

3. Baby oil is a great alternative to shaving cream.

  1. I have a few to add!

    1) To treat dry tips of the hair, mix an egg yolk and olive oil, and apply it as a hair mask. Rinse out after 30 mins.

    2) The prevent static from sticking - spray a bit of hairspray on your skin before dressing.

    3) Whilst applying liquid eyeliner and you happen to smudge it, simply take a cu-tip, dab into eye makeup remover and blot away the excess liner (also works for dark eyeshadow that drops on the face, or mascara that marks the top of the eyelids.

    4) To help prevent wrinkles and skin blemishes, apply strained jasmine tea leaves to the face for 20 minutes.
