There are several massive pros to this treatment and one fairly significant flaw which I'll discuss here. Starting with the pros, this is a fantastic kit for creating a really effective at-home facial that delivers considerable results. The Soft Peel preps skin for the Vitamin C Concentrate which delivers a powerful punch of treatment that you can really feel working without any irritation (I'm a really big fan of Vitamin C treatments generally) and the mask finishes off the experience perfectly by soothing skin and nourishing it beautifully.
For my skin, this was absolutely amazing. After the treatment, my skin felt fully moisturised for the first time in weeks (to the extent where I went to bed without using a moisturiser - something I haven't done in years!) and my angry, hormonal spots appeared considerably calmer due to the application of the potent Vitamin C Concentrate. My skin generally looked brighter, calmer and clearer with results that could easily rival an in-salon treatment.
If I could afford to, I'd use this every week without a shadow of a doubt. However, therein is where the problem lies. The kit normally retails at £29 although it's currently on special at £20 and that's for one treatment. Yes, you read that right; one treatment! Since using this kit last week I've been back and forth about whether to purchase another as I really do love the effects and it's safe to say it's been a while since something has impressed me this much, but I just don't like the idea of spending that kind of money on one treatment. An argument can be made that you would spend much more than £20 on one in-salon treatment, but in my weird, beauty-obsessive, logic I'd prefer to spend more money on it if I knew I was getting more than one use out of it. For example, they could raise the price to say £40 and include 3 treatments and I would most definitely purchase it, but the idea of spending £20 on something that's only going to be around for half an hour really doesn't appeal. If they reduced the price to £10 per kit then I would no doubt end up purchasing several in one go as I do genuinely love this kit.
