Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
I went on a budget beauty binge a little while ago and within my purchases was Rimmel's Wake Me Up Concealer.  The packaging is a functional tube and the applicator is a standard doe-foot wand.

I'm always on the lookout for a good full coverage concealer, but I think it would've been unrealistic to expect this to replace my Vichy Dermablend concealers as they're seriously heavy duty.  It's a pretty good blemish concealer, but it doesn't offer me the coverage I'm used to.  However, what this has proved brilliant for is under eye concealing which is the way I'm currently using it.

It's got a great, creamy consistency and is available in four shades, of which there are two Ivory variants; Ivory and True Ivory.  I purchased Ivory which is actually a really good match for my under eye area.  It blends easily, doesn't drag at all and does a great job at neutralising any blue tones, meaning I don't need to use a corrector first.  However, it's worth noting that most of the time I don't really need a lot of concealer under my eyes unless I'm really tired.

This does need to be set in place with a good powder (I'm currently back on mineral powder) but once set, it stays put for at least 6-8 hours, and for £5.99 this is quite the bargain.  You only need a tiny amount as it's got great slip, so it's definitely money well spent in my humble opinion.

Disclosure:  purchased by me.
